Overview
This project hosts a Vampy plugin for the automatic estimation of musical temperament (tuning) of Harpsichord recordings.
There is a standalone and a Web version. The first can be used with Sonic Visualiser or Sonic Annotator given that Vampy and the relevant Python libraries such as Numpy and Scipy are installed on your machine. The service or Web version is also a regular Vampy plugin, but it also provides RDF descriptions of the extracted temperament (such as information about the tuning of specific intervals) using the Temperament Ontology. This version has been integrated in the SAWA-TempEst system.
See the wiki for more information about using TempEst. http://code.soundsoftware.ac.uk/projects/tempest/wiki
