Description
Just a thought: in order to promote the hosted code projects, what about some kind of automatic or semi automatic promotion of the projects? For instance - when uploading a new file/document for download, the user could have the option of also promote it to the front page of the site, together with a one liner with a small comment on what's that about (new release, etc).
This would probably need some monitoring, but would be an interesting way to make the site's front page more appealing and to give more publicity to the hosted projects.
Also - maybe some automated tweets, rss feeds, etc?
