All id attribute values 'undefined' in result XML file, in old version of Safari

Description
This could be due to an old version of Safari (6) being used, but in one experiment all id attributes, including audioelement, audioholder, and survey questions, became 'undefined'.
Not able to reproduce on later version of Safari (9), with same XML file etc.
If we find out what it is, older and different browsers might be supported too.
