Comment fields sometimes miss keystrokes

Description
Have been told that it seems some letters are missing from comments, possibly due to some keystrokes not being captured. To investigate.

This may have been caused by the slider scale divs occupying the entire vertical space and therefore when clicking on a box it would not register a focus event on the text area. This has been resolved, but may not be the only cause.
Can you provide some more information? Are they specific characters? Or was it whole sentences. If the latter then I believe this should be fixed.
