Research description

I am currently working on my PhD thesis within the Music Informatics Research Group at City University London. My current research interests include the following topics within music information retrieval and bioacoustics:

• discoursive analysis of music culture
• music similarity modelling
• social tagging and folksonomies
• human computation
• automatic animal sound detection
