Saurabh Deshmukh¶

This is Saurabh Deshmukh, Professor in CSE Department in an engineering college in India.
I have completed my PhD in the year 2014 on the topic " on the selection of Audio Descriptors and Identification of a singer in North Indian Classical Music". I have 20 years of Teaching Experience and at present there are 7 PhD Research Scholars completing their PhD under my guidance.
I have a little knowledge of
1. North Indian classical Music
2. Various Audio Feature Extraction Techniques
3: My own Wrapper Approach method (Hybrid Selection Algorithm) to accurately select appropriate audio descriptors for an application of MIR.
4. I have worked for 10 years on Matlab ANN,DSP,FUZZY, MIR and Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System tools
5 Machine Learning and Deep Learning

I am looking forward for assistance/information/suggestions on may of my ongoing research projects. For example, "Music Emotions" that involves Identification and manifestation of Audio Frequencies originated from Music, Signing Voice and Musical instruments and their impact on human emotions. I would love to work on world music.
