Anastasia Mazurenko

Ph.D. of Arts (Ethnomusicology, Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine). Senior Research Fellow at the Problematic Scientific-Research Laboratory of Music Ethnology. The author of 12 scientific articles devoted to computational approaches for the study of Ukrainian traditional vocal music. The participant of 26 conferences, including “Euro-MAC–9” (Strasbourg, 2017), “Modus–Modi–Modality” (Nicosia, 2017), “Música Analítica” (Porto, 2019), ICTM Symposiums of Music and Dance of the Slavic World Study Group (2016, 2018, 2021), Symposium on Traditional Polyphony (Tbilisi, 2020) et al. A member of ICTM. Also hold a position of Senior Sound-Engineer on TV-Postproduction. Interests: computational and acoustic methods in ethnomusicology; pitch and scale analysis; transcriptions issue; musical perception.
