No useful information when configure request fails

Description
Received a report about MATCH failing to run for certain test files, which turned out to be because the files were at a very low sample rate that it was rejecting.
(It might be useful to check, separately, why MATCH is refusing any sample rate - it shouldn't care at all, should it?)
The result is a failure dialog that contains basically no information - see attached pic from Daniel Bedoya. Surely we can do better than this!
