Inserting time instants by mouse does not invoke auto-labelling behaviour

Description
Auto-labelling instants only works if you insert using the keyboard shortcut. The setting is ignored when placing instants with a mouse click. This is a pity, because inserting by mouse click can be more precise (you can click, then drag to a more precise location, then release).
