Overlapping regions glitch on update during playback

Description
A region layer with overlapping or nested regions displayed in Segmentation mode can do some weird things when updating during playback, e.g. if zooming at the same time.
- Create a region layer with two regions one of which completely encloses the other (may have to use Data Editor for this owing to editing limitations)
- Switch to Segmentation view
- Play
- Zoom in and out while the playhead passes across the outer region
The refresh is liable to be glitchy, for example revealing the colour of one region as the playhead passes across another.
