Feature extraction can lock up SV for a period if no network connection available

Description
When using SV without a network connection, requesting a Vamp plugin can lock up the UI for a period of time before proceeding. At the end of that period, the message
CachedFile::check: Retrieval failed, will try again later (using existing file for now)
is printed to stderr.
