h1. WP2.1 Evaluation Strategy Design

In order to evaluate the (training) training materials, it is necessary to:
* identify specific (learning) the learning objectives which they aim to meet
* evaluate whether the materials meet those learning objectives
additionally, we need to
* identify
satisfy the overall purposes purpose of the materials course
* evaluate whether the cumulative materials meet those learning objectives satisfy these overall purposes

h2. Methods of Evaluation

* Informal / Formal Review e.g.:
** "Cloze Test":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloze_test to assess readability
** Questionnaire to see how easy it is to find relevant material
** Internal use of materials
* Post-course questionnaire
* Medium-term review of usefulness of course content / adoption of techniques (e.g. 2-3 months after course)

Review content for: Content
* reading Target audience - level & utilization
* correctness Reading level
* organization Correctness of content (current, accurate)
* ease Instructional components
* Essential information vs elaborations
* Well-organized, logical
* Well illustrated (quantity, quality)
* Without propaganda or bias

Format
* Equipment & infrastructure requirements
* Quality, wear & tear, practical
* Ease
of use (instructional components)
based on the target audience * Overall attractivenesss
