h2. Configuration of the Clean URLs module¶

If the test for clean URLs fails, try the following (see also https://drupal.org/node/1719476)

• run apachectl -t -D DUMP_MODULES and check that the rewrite_module is enabled
• open /etc/apache2/sites-available/default and check that AllowOverride is set to “All” rather than “None”
• remove the “?q=“ from the URL “site_name/admin/config/search/clean-urls” on your browser
