Reopening audio files from prior run happens (slowly) before UI is visible

Description
Reopening all the files from the previous session can take a while, so it really needs to wait for the UI to be visible first - otherwise it just looks as if nothing is happening. At the moment they are all laboriously opened and alignment is started from all of them before the UI appears at all.
It's kind of a pity, because it would be nice to have the UI appear "at one stroke" rather than having the individual files added one by one - but ultimately the way it works now is worse.
