Description
The layer parameters very easily get squished into a terrible mess on OS/X -- not sure why, they're fine on other platforms. This really needs to be resolved, it's an embarrassment.

Dramatically improved last week in the 3.0-integration branch. The main difference is just through always using the "group" layout, i.e. always having the same layout hierarchy on every row in the right part of the property box.
