robert@464 1 The D-Box code can be built on the board using the scripts included with
robert@464 2 Bela. To build the code, do the following from the scripts/ directory:
robert@464 3
robert@464 4 ./setup_board.sh # Only if Bela is not already copied to the board
robert@464 5 ./build_project.sh -n ../projects/d-box # -n means don't run yet
robert@464 6
robert@464 7 You will now need to copy the .dbx sound files to the box. These need to
robert@464 8 be in a directory: /root/d-box/sounds
robert@464 9
robert@464 10 Log into the board via ssh to create the d-box directory, or run:
robert@464 11
robert@464 12 ssh root@192.168.7.2 "mkdir /root/d-box"
robert@464 13
robert@464 14 Now copy the .dbx files from a source of your choice to the board. Assuming
robert@464 15 they are in a directory called "sounds":
robert@464 16
robert@464 17 scp -r sounds root@192.168.7.2:/root/d-box/
robert@464 18
robert@464 19 Now you can run the D-Box program to make sure it plays. You will need the
robert@464 20 sensors and matrix connected to the box (i.e. a complete hardware D-Box).
robert@464 21 From the scripts/ directory:
robert@464 22
robert@464 23 ./run_project.sh -f -c "-q 24 -r 25 -t 2 -s -p 2 -l 0 -u 0 -i 1 -n f -g 3 -v"
robert@464 24
robert@464 25 If this plays properly, the D-Box can then be set to run automatically on boot:
robert@464 26
robert@464 27 ./set_startup.sh -l -c "-q 24 -r 25 -t 2 -s -p 2 -l 0 -u 0 -i 1 -n f -g 3 -v"
robert@464 28
robert@464 29 If at any time you want to stop the D-Box program running, you can run:
robert@464 30
robert@464 31 ./stop_running.sh
robert@464 32
robert@464 33 To turn off further autoboot, run:
robert@464 34
robert@464 35 ./set_startup.sh -n
