Chris@0: There is currently only one way of building libsndfile for Win32 and Win64; Chris@0: cross compiling from Linux using the MinGW cross compiler. Chris@0:

Chris@0: libsndfile is written to be compiled by a compiler which supports large Chris@0: chunks of the 1999 ISO C Standard. Chris@0: Unfortunately, the microsoft compiler supports close to nothing of this Chris@0: standard and hence is not suitable for libsndfile. Chris@0:

Chris@0: It may be possible to compile libsndfile on windows using the Chris@0: MinGW Chris@0: compiler suite, but I haven't tested that and have no interest in supporting Chris@0: that. Chris@0:
