samer@0:      A "checksum" value is an error-checking mechanism that may assist
samer@0:      in determining whether a file has been modified or data garbled
samer@0:      due to transmission or faulty storage.  The "checksum A" value
samer@0:      uses the POSIX.2 checksum algorithm.  The "checksum B" value uses
samer@0:      the CCITT cyclic redundancy check algorithm.  Note that checksum
samer@0:      commands differ from system to system.  The above checksums were
samer@0:      calculated for DOS-format data.
