Show cancel button with progress bar only when running an operation that it makes sense to cancel (we don't really want people cancelling e.g. initial folder scan because it would leave things in an inconsistent state)

Chris@496 1 {Opening and initialising things}
Chris@496 2
Chris@499 3 I want to start a new project using version control
Chris@496 4
Chris@499 5 You can initialise a repository in an empty folder, in order to start
Chris@499 6 using version control for a new project:
Chris@496 7
Chris@496 8 *1. Click the Open toolbar button or use File -> Open*
Chris@496 9
Chris@498 10 #openfolder50
Chris@496 11
Chris@498 12 *2. Select "File folder" as the thing you want to open*
Chris@496 13
Chris@498 14 *3. Make a new folder in the file dialog and browse to it*
Chris@496 15
Chris@496 16 *4. Click OK*
Chris@496 17
Chris@498 18 A new repository will be created, stowed into the empty working folder
Chris@498 19 you selected. At first, it will have an empty history. You can then
Chris@499 20 start to add files and commit changes to your files.
Chris@498 21
Chris@498 22 * Note: the equivalent Mercurial command for this is *hg init*
