d@0 57
7.2 FFTW Constants in Fortran

d@0 58
d@0 59
When creating plans in FFTW, a number of constants are used to specify
d@0 60 options, such as
FFTW_MEASURE
or
FFTW_ESTIMATE
. The
d@0 61 same constants must be used with the wrapper routines, but of course the
d@0 62 C header files where the constants are defined can't be incorporated
d@0 63 directly into Fortran code.
d@0 64
d@0 65
Instead, we have placed Fortran equivalents of the FFTW constant
d@0 66 definitions in the file
fftw3.f
, which can be found in the same
d@0 67 directory as
fftw3.h
. If your Fortran compiler supports a
d@0 68 preprocessor of some sort, you should be able to
include
or
d@0 69
#include
this file; otherwise, you can paste it directly into
d@0 70 your code.
d@0 71
d@0 72
In C, you combine different flags (like
FFTW_PRESERVE_INPUT
and
d@0 73
FFTW_MEASURE
) using the `<samp>
|
</samp>' operator; in Fortran you
d@0 74 should just use `<samp>
+
</samp>'. (Take care not to add in the same flag
d@0 75 more than once, though.)
