.TH ATOB 1 "2 September 1993" .SH NAME atob \- ascii to binary conversion. .SH SYNTAX atob [options] [file] .SH DESCRIPTION Read ascii numbers (one per line) from the input stream until eof. Write each number on the stdout in the given data type. .SH OPTIONS 1. type The output data type, which may be one of the list: char, short, int, float, double, ascii. Silent options for short, int and float are retained for compatibility with earlier versions.
